I love creating stop motion, it is so fun!
Here is one that I created last weekend:
I can't watch this enough! It's so cute! (If I may say so myself!) It was also surprisingly easy! :)
It is just a series of carefully staged photos, strung together. Yes, it is that simple! However, there are a few tips that a would give to any budding stop motionists. (Why not have a go? What can go wrong?)
• Have an idea of a story in your head - A stop motion that has no base is not very interesting. But it could be as simple as moving an item across the screen.
• Items you want to move slowly in the final video, move a little distance between each photo. Items you want to move quickly in the final video, move a greater distance between each photo. I suggest starting with all movements being quite small.
Once you have taken photos of your stop motion, string them all together! InShot is a great place to do this.
That's it! It is so easy to just have a bit of fun with stop motion. Have a go and let me know what you did!
