

This is a variation of Chain Stitch where each chain “link” forms an individual stitch, and is great for filling a space or making a simple flower design. Bring your needle up at 1 then back down as close to 1 as you can, leaving a loop of thread on the surface of the fabric. Bring your needle back up at 2 to catch the loop, and then back down close to 2 to trap the loop under a small stitch.
