These lovely fun items started life as a knitting tutorial for working the magic loop technique in the round.  They have proved so popular that I have made them available in a pattern book.  Here you will still get the benefit of the tutorial as well - there are full instructions and explanations of all the techniques used.  Lots of pictures too!

Far more stylish than those cardboard holders, wear yours on your wrist and it is ready to use when you pick up your coffee!

I hope that you may use this pattern as a starting point for learning about knitting in the round - and if you prefer to knit flat and join the seam - there is a version of each pattern written just for you.  The cozies are very easy to adjust in size, so you can make them for your favourite tall mug, your slender wrists, or go large and make them into leg warmers.  The pattern contains instructions on how to adjust the size to make them fit as you desire.

The pattern contains instructions for each of the 5 coffee cozies shown, knitted in the round or knitted on the flat.  This is a detailed pattern with explanations and a picture tutorial of all techniques used.  It is suitable for beginners through to experienced knitters.

Each cozy takes just a small amount of double knitting yarn, so a great way to use up those scraps in your yarn basket.  Knit two and have them as a pair of wrist warmers.

Each cozy uses a different pattern - knit and purl stitch combinations and some rather cute cabled owls.

This is a pattern to have fun with and enjoy.  It is a tutorial, so I hope you find it instructive and gives you the confidence to try something new.  After this, you will be able to create your own coffee cozy patterns!
